I like classy, elegant styles. I like listening to how every customer imagines their style to be like, upon understanding their hair type and what kind of daily maintenance it requires.
My strength is suggesting styles that not only suit them but will work for their lifestyle and will be easy to recreate at home.
My biggest sense of achievement comes from when customers like their new hairstyle and feel more beautiful when they leave my salon.
I consider myself a true hair expert.

Profile

After graduating from Aichi Prefectural Iidai High School, I enrolled in Chubu Beauty College. Following my graduation, I worked in salons in Japan for four years before moving to London, where I obtained a Vidal Sassoon diploma.
After working at a salon in Soho, I moved to the United States in 1999. I spent five years as a top stylist at a salon in Gramercy, New York, where I achieved record sales as the salon manager.
In 2004, I returned to Japan and served as a manager at a salon in Omotesando for five years. In 2009, I co-founded “sozo” with TAA and currently serve as its representative.
In 2014, I opened “cecai by sozo omotesando,” and in 2020, I established “sozo no gakkō.” In 2023, I opened “sozo GINZA,” and in 2024, I will begin our expansion into the global market.
While actively working as a hairstylist and entrepreneur, I am also involved in various fields outside of the beauty industry.
